Start procedure
How to proceed
To ensure a well-organized and efficient start, there are some guidelines that all participants should be aware of.
How does the start take place?
On the first four stages, the participant must stand behind the start gate. Be careful not to cross the timing mats before the start. The start is signaled by the announcer and by countdown. The announcer will continuously inform you about how much time is left until the start.
Start times
Stages 1-3: All participants start together at 18:00.
Stage 4: All participants start together at 10:00.
Stage 5: This is the chase start. The leading runner in each class starts at 10:00. The time you are behind the overall leader in your age category determines when you start. Anyone who is more than 30 minutes behind the leader in their respective class will start together at 10:30.

Good practice
We recommend that you arrive well in advance of the start so you can find your place and make sure everything is in order with your chest number and chip. Start out slowly and make sure to pass the start with your feet low over the mats. Your time only starts when you pass the mats.
Give your running buddy and/or competitor a high five before the start 🖐
We look forward to seeing you at the start and wish you good luck on the route!
